Goa Assembly Election 2022: Former BJP leader Michael Lobo, along with his wife Delilah who is seeking a ticket from Siolim constituency in the next month’s Assembly elections, joined Congress in the presence of the party’s Goa in-charge Dinesh Gundu Rao and Leader of Opposition Digambar Kamat.
Talking to the media, Mr. Lobo Said: I am getting a lot of love from the Citizens Of Calangute. People are still giving as much love as before. He said that now we will definitely win, but we do not know from how many votes we will win. My supporters, my party workers, all the people who believe in me, are asking door to door to vote for Congress to vote for Michael Lobo.

Mr. Lobo, former MLA from Calangute, was Minister for Port in the Pramod Sawant-led Goa government. Lobo, along with his wife Delilah, joined the Congress promising to help the party win a majority in the state.
