Mumbai ” Bharatiya Janata Party has announced to make the current MLA from Kandivali East Atul Bhatkhalkar the candidate for the third time. After this, on Thursday (23 October) at 9 am, BJP, Shiv Sena, NCP, RPI’s Kandivali East candidate Atul Bhatkhalkar filed the election nomination papers. On this occasion, a grand procession was organized from Ashoknagar to Thakur Complex. During this, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Gopal Shetty, BJP MP from Darbhanga Gopal Thakur, Shiv Sena’s former corporator and Kandivali East Assembly coordinator Eknath Shankar Hundare, RPI leader Sanjay Sakpal, BJP Assembly Speaker Appa Belvalkar, Assembly in-charge Sudhir Shinde, former corporator Shivkumar Jha, Sunita Yadav, Surekha Patil, Sagar Singh, Daksha Patel, Sangeeta Sharma along with local representatives and office bearers were present. Mahayuti office bearers made a prominent presence.
Atul Bhatkhalkar’s election nomination journey started with seeking blessings of Swayambhu Shri Ganesh of Kandivali East. Thousands of voters and workers were present at the rally on this occasion. The grand procession started at 9 am. It started from Ashoknagar in Kandivali East and stopped directly at the election office in Thakur Complex.
Mahayuti candidate Atul Bhatkhalkar has pledged to ensure ‘100 per cent polling’ in Kandivali East Assembly constituency. Meanwhile, while speaking to the media, he expressed confidence of winning with a big margin. He said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party and Mahayuti have given me a chance to contest the election for the third time, believing in me and my work. I will live up to this faith. In the recently held Lok Sabha elections, we took a lead of 70 thousand votes in this Kandivali constituency, before this in the last assembly elections I was elected with a margin of 53 thousand votes. So I am sure that I will be elected in this election by a margin of 1 lakh votes. Not only this, the double engine government of Mahagathbandhan will come again in Maharashtra and the pace of development of Maharashtra will double.”
Atul Bhatkhalkar has started the campaign by filling the election application form. He has said that this time he has young and experienced workers with him and there is enthusiasm among the workers. He said, “Most of the workers working with me are young and experienced workers. All are well educated, capable and intelligent. They have both enthusiasm and consciousness. Therefore, our effort is to ensure 100% voting in the area, that is why we will try to reach every family.”
